Path 6: Complimentary Material For Path 6: Be
Still and Know
Generally,
we go through our days, weeks and lives operating
from what we have been programmed to do and think.
Even many of us who contemplate more deeply the
meaning of our existence, our life on earth, follow
a similar sequential path. There is the searching.
Maybe if is for a church or a book or a teacher to
engage our thought process, Then there is awareness
of resources in more books, religions, churches and
like minded people. Many continue to move toward
enlightenment, become closer to the source, the God
within each of us, by using more energy on books,
cd's, dvd's, gatherings of like minded people. Those
actions, those uses of energy are all perfect.
There are inconsistencies in our
behavior. While we study and practice ways to become
one with the God within, we allow toxins into the
body that is the physical home for our divinity on
earth. When people hear the word toxin they often
thing if drugs like heroin, crack and more. They
think of alcohol and tobacco. They often do not
think of prescription medications for problems with
our body that can be fixed with proper nutrition,
exercise and water. They often do not think of fats
and sugars when white sugar is actually more
addictive than cocaine. (I am not suggesting you go
out and prove that point or substitute cocaine for
white sugar.)
When you understand that what you eat and drink has
a direct impact on the environment of your body's
cells and that environment influences your ability
to focus your thoughts on your intentions and your
ability to be silent and connect to God then it is
easier to respect your body and the cells throughout
your body with the proper fluids and nutrients. It
is also easy to respect non-traditional thought on
substances that have been used for thousands of
years in rituals where participants are focused on
being one with spirit.
It is impossible to become one with
God if you are abusing yourself - mentally,
physically or both. Because the environment you are
creating blocks the flow of energy from the Source.
The 6th Chakra is often referred to
as The Third Eye. Joyce names this wisdom. Catherine
Ponder refers to this gift as our intuitive self.
Deepak Chopra asks us to think of what we are
evaluating and then monitor our body for how we feel
about it. Our body has a built in mechanism for
telling if something we are doing or about to do or
say is right or not. Whether you think of this as
the third eye chakra, wisdom, intuition or simply
your guidance system, we know know from these
discussions that the way you align yourself with
this wisdom is through silence. Deepak says when you
create the gap - the gap between thought you are one
with the Source you are one with God and when you
have your intentions with you and drop them into the
gap it is impossible for them not to manifest.
Many of us learned at an early age
that God is All Knowing, All Loving, God Is
Everywhere. If you follow the 5 step sequence of
energy that we learned over in Path 5, then you also
know there are no limitations. When we tap into the
source we experience the wisdom of God. We have the
answers we are searching for and we manifest our
intentions. Next week we will review an example of
this that most people call a miracle. Personally I
now understand that what is viewed as a miracle is
our pure potentiality being manifest.
This is not to suggest that reading
the books and going to church and meeting with like
minded people to expand your awareness and
understanding of the spiritual laws of life is not a
good use of time. This is simply to suggest that
when we are acting including reading, moving to a
place, talking, we are not connecting to the energy
of Divine Grace. We connect to Divine Grace when we
move into the silence and enter the gap.
Catherine Ponder writes in Chapter 14
of the Dynamic Laws of Prosperity By the way when I
was considering resources for this section of our
Path 6 meeting, I picked up Catherine's book, opened
it and right there in front of me was Chapter 14 and
the following sentence highlighted. Ladies and
gentlemen there are no coincidences. Here is are
Catherine's words " People whom the world considers
to be of genius caliber are those who have had the
courage and confidence to listen to, and follow the
guidance of their intuition and creative
imagination." ....
"The dictionary defines intuition as the immediate
knowing or learning of something without the
conscious use of reasoning; instantaneous
understanding. Literally your intuition is your
inner knowing."
Now if you think this notion of your
inner wisdom that comes from connection with your
Divine Source is a relatively new idea, Catherine
points to the following:
"Elijah discovered that the "still,
small, voice", was the voice of God Himself as
supreme guidance and wisdom (I Kings 19:12) The
still small voice is your genius power, for it is
your God power.
Intuition is not concerned with
reason. We have discussed that at our Source, the
energy field has no score card, doesn't distinguish
between pain and pleasure, sex does not matter, what
you look like and what you have or don't have in a
material sense makes no difference. So when you are
connected to the Divine source within you have the
confidence to follow the promptings without
reasoning them through. Most of us demand proof.
Those that do not, are the spiritual leaders we
know, are the geniuses we know, are the ones whose
mere presence in the village changes the village.
Wisdom, intuition, Devine Guidance is
found when we are in the silence. At times when we
are just relaxed something will come to us.
Then it is up to us to act or not.
Developing Your Intuition - Your
Wisdom From God - 5 Steps Suggested by Catherine
Ponder
1. Recognize intuition is a spiritual
faculty of the mind which does not explain or reason
but simply points the way to your greater good. It
is up to you to follow the intuitive path in faith
and confidence, in order to claim your good.
2. Practice living with the knowing Divine
Intelligence is with you at all times. You practice
by focusing on tapping into that Divine
Intelligence. This is the only Source that never
becomes weary of giving to you, guiding you and
helping you. There are no limitations on the
resources available from Divine Intelligence to help
you. The more you think of this loving, all-knowing
Divine Intelligence and its intuitive guidance
working with you and for you, the less laborious
will be your effort to make things right.
(Effortless) Affirm:
Divine Intuition is now showing me the way. Divine
Intuition is now working in and through me, in and
through all concerned, producing quickly the perfect
outcome, the perfect result.
3. As you live with the
knowing the Divine Intelligence is with you always
and as you go to the Silence you will stop thinking
of your intensions as being apart from you. You will
stop thinking of your desired good as apart, away or
separate from you. You will stop thinking of your
desired good as difficult to obtain. You will stop
scheming and trying to maneuver and manipulate
people and events. You will be living with the
recognition that what it is that you want to
manifest is already here and it will appear on God's
watch.
4."Desire is God Tapping at the door of your mind,
trying to give you greater good." After becoming
aware of intuition and you are not quite assured,
ask for an indication:
Affirm Divine Intelligence, just what is the perfect
truth about this situation? Reveal it to me now and
make it so plain and clear that I cannot possibly
make a mistake.
5. Be prepared for
surprises. Your intentions, your questions, your
problems are not always solved in the way you had in
mind. If you are not conditioned for surprises, you
may miss how your intentions are being manifested.
Remember: Thoughts Become Things. Focus on being in
alignment with the Divine Source of all thought and
then accept the Divine experiences that follow.
We do not have the time in this
session to go deeper. Again, we end with Corinthians
13:
Though I speak with the tongues of
men and of angels, but have not love, I have become
nothing more than sounding brass or a clanging
cymbal.
And though I have the gift of prophecy, and
understand all mysteries and all knowledge, and
though I have all faith, so that I could remove
mountains, but have not love, I am nothing.
And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor,
and although I give my body to be burned but have
not love, it profits me nothing.
Love suffers long and it is kind; love does not
envy; love does not parade itself; it is not puffed
up; love does not behave rudely; does not seek its
own; is not provoked; think no evil; love does not
rejoice in iniquity; but rejoices in the truth; love
bears all things, believes all things, hopes all
things, endures all things.
Love never fails: but where there are prophecies,
they will fail, where there are tongues, they will
cease, where the is knowledge it will vanish away.
For we know in part and we prophecy in part. But
when that which is perfect has come then that which
is part will be done away.
When I was child, I spoke as a child I understood as
a child, I thought as a child; but when I became a
man, I put away childish things.
For now we see dimly in a mirror, dimly but then
face to face. Now I know in part but then I shall
know just as I am also known.
And now abide faith, hope , love, these three; but
the greatest of these is love.
